 Aerosol filling of a wide range of aerosol products.
Damar Industries became involved in the manufacture and supply of aerosol products after the Forestry Industry requested the company to look at development of an aerosol spray marker which would address the concerns of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) by alleviating the problems caused by solvents in aerosol paints. The company developed a marker which met all requirements and, in fact, far exceeded some requirements. Damar Spray Well Aerosol marker has now achieved in excess of 80% of the total New Zealand forestry market. To produce these aerosols we built an aerosol factory with two aerosol lines. This was expanded in 1998 with the acquisition of the state of the art Gillette NZ Limited total aerosol filling lines giving Damar the capacity to meet the large contracts we hold for contract filling of aerosol cans. In March 2005, Damar purchased Aerosol Products Ltd, giving Damar a total of six aerosol filling lines and making it the fourth largest aerosol filler in Australasia, and the largest in New Zealand. |
